Hey there!
So you want to get to know me?
I'll skip the origin story and just tell you about this season because, honestly, this season is the most relevant part.
I'm Aliya, founder of Digital Drip by Aliya, and what some would generously call a multi-hyphenate. Copywriter. Former clinician. Visual artist. And an introvert who built a business around communication.
You can add animal lover and gamer to the list, too, because context matters.
My background is in clinical medicine, which means I spent years learning how to listen before copywriting was even in my vocabulary. That changes how you write.
It changes what you notice, the gap between what someone says and what they actually mean, the words people reach for when they're trying to describe something that doesn't have a name yet.
That's the gap I work in now.
But here's the part nobody talks about. Digital Drip didn't start here. It started as a portfolio. Then I added a shop. Then services. Then more content. Then a blog. Before I knew it, I had built what I called ‘the everything site, a little bit of everything for nobody in particular.
Sound familiar?
I spent time trying to be findable by everyone instead of being undeniable to someone.
And my messaging reflected that. It was broad, safe, and honestly? It didn't sound like me anymore. Repositioning wasn't comfortable. But it was necessary.
And going through it myself is exactly why I can help you do it.
Now, I help women founders in midlife and career transition find language for the work they're building. Copy that sounds like who they're becoming, not who they used to be.
The blog is part of that journey, too. It started as a mirror for my own process and grew into a space where I think out loud about voice, identity, and what it really means to build something that sounds like you.
If you've ever read your own bio and thought that's not quite me, you're in the right place.
Ready to find your words?
